Whorton family sick AGAIN!!!!!

Yep, that's right!!!! Dylan is sick again.

He woke up around 1:00 am Tuesday morning with a fever. We gave him so motrin and he went back to sleep. Shane decided he would stay home with him since I had a meeting for TAKS training I had to go to that morning. I was worried about him all day long. He ran a low grade fever on and off all day and threw up once, but seems to be feeling better when I got home.

Well, 2:00am Friday morning, he wakes up with a 99.4 temp, again I load him up on Motrin and we are off to sleepy land again. He wakes up, no fever, but he did throw up twice during the day. His fever has been gone for almost 20 hours now, but he now has diarrhea. He finally fell asleep around 9:45 this evening. Hopefully he will wake up a new man!! Let's keep our fingers crossed, it just breaks my heart when he's sick, I feel so helpless and I wish I could take it away.

Other than that things are going pretty good!!! I am totally ready for spring break, so I can spend a little one on one time with my guy.....

I got to spend Monday night with my sister and adorable nephew, we were watching The Bachelor-The girls tell all!!! We have so much fun when we get together with our two little guys. I had Isaac laughing out loud, more than Dana's said she's ever heard him laugh. He's getting so big already and cuter every single day!!! And of course Dylan loves him so much, but his is very gentle and just gives him kisses on his forehead and tells him shh...shh... it's okay when he's upset.

Hello all,
I know it has been a long time since I last posted, so here is an update on how Christmas went for the Whorton's!!!!
We were very BUSY, over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but we had a blast and Dylan received so many wonderful things and he had such a great time!!!

















We started out at my moms house and this is Dylan and his cousin Titan playing on the new swingset that Grammy and Papaw got all the grandkids!!! They loved love it and had so much fun!!

We then went to my aunt and uncles house to celebrate with my dad's side of the family!!!

Then we were off the Shane's dads and stepmoms where we stayed the night and waited for Santa Clause to come!!!

Happy Halloween!!!!!!!!

Hello all,

Sorry it's been so long since my last post, I am going to try to do better. Let's start off with before Halloween. Dylan and I spent a lot of time preparing for Halloween, here are some pictures of him carving his first pumpkin.

I have had a lot of things going on at school, the week of October 17th was red ribbon week, we dressed in differnet themes each day and had a pep rally on that Friday.

We had another pep rally this Friday the 31st, and Dylan my mom and my sister were able to come watch my cheerleaders perform. They have been working their tails off for this pep rally and it paid off, the girls did wonderful and the pep rally was a success. And Dylan was not scared of the mascot, he was in love with it!!!!

Okay now to go back a little bit, we took Dylan to the local pumpkin patch, and he had a blast picking out which pumpkins we were going to put in the front yard. I have posted some pics of Dylan at the pumpkin patch this year and some pics from last year!! It's amazing how much he as grown and changed in 1 year.

This was last year at the pumpkin patch, 10-07!! Dylan 10 months old!!!

Look at the sweet little smile, I wish he could have stayed that small forever :(

WOW!!!!!!! So many pumpkins, so little time!!!

Dylan had a great time on Halloween, he got the hang of it very fast and did not slow down at all! We started by visiting Shane's dad and step-mom, and Dylan got a lot of yummy treats from his Ginda and G-Pa.

Then we went over to my mom and step-dads, grammy and papa where he got more goodies and we had to empty his full bucket into a wal-mart bag for him to have a empty bucket to fill up again!!

We then went out to Haslet to my dads and step-moms, honey and grandad!!! Out by their house, the houses are to far apart to walk to, so every year 5-6 couple friends of theirs gets on the back of a trailer and ride around from house to house.

OMG, Dylan had so much fun!!!!! Let's just put it this way, I couldn't move the next morning, I was so sore just trying to keep up with him. I don't have any pics to put up of the trailer ride just yet, but hopefully soon, I forgot my camera in the car and plan on getting pics from someone else.

Dylan really enjoyed Halloween this year, and we look forward to many more wonderful years of trick-or-treating!!!
